Entrance to Studio Kyy is located in the ground floor of a residential building. The entrance is on the courtyard side of the building. In our window we have a Studio Kyy -sign. Next to the door there is a doorbell, which displays the name of the studio as well. Ring the doorbell and one of our staff will come open the door.
The road to the studio is paved with asphalt.

Senses & accessibility
Scents
The detergents and other chemicals used for cleaning or tattooing are not completely scent free. The staff seeks to accommodate scent sensitivities, which is why the artist asks client for possible sensitivities before using detergents or soap. You can ask your artist for more detailed information regarding the fragrances, soaps, creams, et cetera. The studio space cannot be ventilated by opening windows or doors, but it is possible to move to another room.
We don’t use air fresheners or other fragrances at the studio. Soap meant for handwashing and the hand cream at the studio are scent free and suitable for sensitive skin. We kindly ask you to not use strong fragrances when you visit our studio.
Since 1st of December 2023 our building has been smoke free. Smoking near our building isn’t permitted.
Lights
Inside the studio is ambient lighting. When tattooing the artist might use a very bright light such as a headlamp or a ring light. The bright light usually targets the area being tattooeed, but for an example the headlamp might flash unpleasantly when artist moves.
Sounds
We try to keep music and conversation at a level comfortable for everyone inside the space. We can turn of the music completely if requested.
Our studio is located at the end of a road, on the courtyard of an apartment building. The sound of traffic cannot be heard inside the studio space. Occasionally some muffled human sounds can be heard inside the studio, as our space is at the ground floor of an apartment building.
Some of the tools we use (such as tattoo guns) can be quite loud and their volume level cannot be altered by us. If you know you are sensitive to loud or repetitive sounds, feel free to take earplugs or headphones with you for your tattoo session.
Allergies
We try our best to accommodate possible allergies when working.
At your request you’ll get a list of ingredients used in the chemicals we use. Ink ingredient lists are always accessible for reviewing at our studio. If you know yourself to be allergic, let your artist know so they can offer you an alternative product whenever possible.
Animals aren’t allowed inside the studio; service animals are of course welcome. After having animal visitors, the studio is thoroughly cleaned. Some of our artists have pets.
